Class will be held in New Summerfield, TX

Class size is limited to 40 people.
100% of the funds paid are used for the ETBA Youth Scholarship Fund.
You will learn:
-Basic bee biology
-How to check a hive
-Beekeeping equipment
-Pests & diseases of the beehive
-Yearly overview of hive management
-Hands-on experience
*We will spend at least 3 hours checking hives*
-You need to provide your own protective gear and bring it to class. Students who do not have proper protective gear will NOT be allowed to work in the bee yard.
Recommended items:
close-toed shoes
bee jacket or suit
veil or beekeeping hood.
